Forms and Deadlines:
Weekly Service Form is due Sunday, September 1st at 11:59PM!. Read the Service section of the weekly email BEFORE filling out this form.
New Member Application opens 8/31 and is due 9/10 at 11:59pm! Tell your friends! Visit the Prospective Members page for more information.
General Membership Form is due 10/02 after the 2nd GM at 11:59pm. It is REQUIRED FOR ALL GENERAL MEMBERS!

General Meeting Dates:
Our general meetings this semester will be from 7:30-8:30pm on 9/18, 10/2, 10/16, 10/30, 11/13, & 12/4! Go ahead and plan on putting those on your calendar so you can meet the GM requirement.

Come to the McLean Pickleball courts and catch up with other AED members over some friendly games of pickleball and delicious popsicles to earn one social credit!
Scholarly Events
AED Interest Tabling Form: Please use the spreadsheet linked to sign up for the first week of school tabling! It will be on August 27th, 28th, September 3rd, 4th, and 5th, from 11:00-3:00pm! You can receive 1 scholarship credit by signing up for two 30-minute shifts (and a maximum of one scholarship credit in total).
FYI: These dates are still TBD. If you signed up, we will reach out to you for any updates.
Service
Weekly Service Form and Updates
It’s time to fill out the signup sheet with your two top choices for weekly service!
Here is the link to the google form: WEEKLY SERVICE PREFERENCE FORM. The signup form will close on Sunday, September 1st at 11:59 PM. Please fill this out if you plan on being active this semester.
To remain active: Members will need to serve 10 hours at their respective volunteer site. Please reach out to Lexi (lexi_haviland1@baylor.edu) with any questions!
Liana has also contacted all applicants of Waco Family Medicine. Make sure to respond to her if she emailed you–so she can finalize scheduling. If you are volunteering at WFM, you do not need to fill out the Weekly Service Signup Form.
If you applied to Ascension Providence or are a returning volunteer, please email Hana_Jang1@baylor.edu. Applications for Ascension close on September 1st, so you can still apply. If you are volunteering with Ascension, you do not need to fill out the Weekly Service Signup Form.
If you applied/are interested in Mission Waco’s Health Clinic, please email Tyler_Tuisl1@baylor.edu. If you are volunteering at Mission Waco, you do not need to fill out the Weekly Service Signup Form.
If you are concerned about a weekly service time commitment, car/carpool situation, or you are already involved in valuable service that you are passionate about, please reach out to Lexi at Lexi_Haviland1@baylor.edu.

Dues will be raised to $35 after GM #3

Important! We will have another recruitment event incentive this semester! For every prospective member you inform about a recruitment event, you will receive 1 raffle entry! The prospective member must list your name on the attendance sheet as we will be verifying their attendance. After our events, we will give away a Merch Credit (valued at $15 off) to one lucky winner! This is a super fun way to earn a social credit and possibly get some merch!
