Event Recap: AEDogs

At AED, we love our canine companions, so our most recent social was the AED Dog Show! With two amazing contestants, AED members were able to relax outside on Fountain Mall, spend some time with furry friends, and take a study break on a beautiful, sunny day.

The two contestants for the dog show were Bailey and Boba, who were both a hit with the crowd and were showered with love by the AED members.

Meet Bailey!

Bailey is a golden retriever and is owned by Kate Firch. Bailey was born on December 28th and just turned 1! She loves playing in the snow and rain, swimming, and playing with other dogs, especially her friends Cy, KC, Duke, and Oli! Her favorite game is fetch and she loves people!

Meet Boba!

Boba is a spring spaniel/pointer mix and is owned by Nevaeh Gomez. Boba is a 1-year-old energetic queen! She’s a party animal and loves meeting new friends. While she seems crazy, she gives the best cuddles and love.

After a performance of tricks and a meet and greet with the audience, AED members voted for which dog would win the prized AEDogs basket of toys. It was an extremely close race, and both dogs were winners in everyone’s eyes, but the award for Best in Show went to Bailey! Afterward, Kate and Bailey shared, “We are humbled and honored to have been chosen as Best in Show!” Bailey made it clear she was having a great time and happily shared her toys with Boba after the competition.
