  • AED Executive Board applications are now OPEN! Click HERE for a comprehensive guide on the application requirements and process as a whole. This leadership opportunity is a great way to develop professionally, bring about changes you want to see in AED, and lead fellow pre-health students at Baylor, all while working alongside a team of similarly dedicated friends. Make sure to contact current executive board members for a one-on-one meeting by the time you apply! 

Thrift Store UPDATE!!!

The thrift store is taking place Wednesday, March 29th from 9am-3pm on the Moody side of Fountain mall! We have collected a ton of donations and are still accepting donations until Sunday, March 26th!

  • VOLUNTEER SIGN UP!!! We still need volunteers to help the day of so use this sign-up sheet to choose a time slot! The times, location, date, and responsibilities are on the spreadsheet. 

    • By signing up for 1 time slot, you can earn 1 Large Service Credit (you can only sign-up for 1 slot)

In-Person Dental School Campus Tours

Texas A&M School of Dentistry is offering us some special in-person campus tours during some Fridays in April (4/14 and 4/21)! You will also have an opportunity to meet with some of our fourth-year dental students during lunch, in a panel format, so that you can ask them questions about our school. If you are interested and would like more information, please contact Srikhar (Srikhar_Chilukuri1@baylor.edu) or Garett (Garett_Petty1@baylor.edu) as soon as possible and let us know which date would work better for you. 


Interested in Public Health Advocacy?

Students for Environmental Equity (SEE) is an organization at Baylor dedicated to educating the student body on important environmental health/justice issues and mobilizing students to take action on these issues through advocacy and lobbying. These environmental health issues include neglected tropical diseases, air/water pollution, climate change, toxic chemical contamination, and more. Southwestern Student Connection in which current UTSW students offer free mentoring/advice to pre-meds at any point in their pre-med journey! Please check the flyer to the side for more info:


Global Health Study Abroad In Galapagos

Baylor’s Department of Anthropology is inviting applicants to the global health study abroad experience in the Galapagos islands (Summer Session II, 2023).  In this program, a small group of students will travel with a research team to Ecuador and stay at three of the Galapagos Islands, as well as Quito, Ecuador’s capital city.  They will have amazing experiences like snorkeling with sea turtles, hiking volcanoes, and traveling to the equator.  However, this program will also serve as a major resume-building activity for students as they work alongside experts in global health conducting field research.  It will be a great opportunity to develop professional relationships needed for letters of recommendation!     • The conference is hosted by Baylor University's Curriculum & Instruction department in partnership with TX-NAME. TX-NAME is a non-profit organization that promotes respect and appreciation for cultural diversity in educational settings and achieves social, political, economic, and educational equity.

    • The event will be hosted at Foster on April 27-29th

Weekly service progress (For ALL MEMBERS)

  • Please fill out this FORM to evaluate your performance with your weekly service up to this point. You'll find a section where you can identify any challenges or problems that may have arisen. If you haven't experienced any difficulties, feel free to submit the form without any answers, so we know everything is OK. The purpose of this progress report is to avoid any issues that may emerge towards the end of the semester, including missed hours or unexpected events. Our top priority is to offer you assistance while completing your weekly service, and effective communication is essential if you have any concerns.
