Social: Wellness Walk
Friday 4/19, 5:30-6:30 PM, starting at the BSB patio!
We will make our own trail mixes at our trail mix station for the first 10 minutes, then we will go on a walk around Baylor’s Bear Trail! Enjoy a beautiful day and have a brain break before we head into finals.
Must stay for at least 30 minutes for a credit!

You MUST SIGN UP if you want to participate so we can put you on a team!
We will have plenty of field day activities and snacks. We will be competing to see which team is the winner!
Please plan to stay the entire time so you can compete for your team. If you have to arrive a little late or leave a little early, let us know.

Scholarship Credit Opportunity: Tabling for Spikeball Tournament
For the upcoming two weeks we will be tabling for our spikeball tournament
The dates, times, and locations can be found on the spreadsheet below! Closer to the date we will send out more info for tabling!
Earn a scholarship credit for two 30 minute shifts! If you have already received your scholarship credit this semester, remember that you can get an extra to use for one of your other requirements!

Service
Large Service Events
AED’s Spikeball tournament is THIS Saturday from 5-10PM (4/20). The tournament is at Fountain Mall. Please sign up at this LINK to volunteer as a referee in order to earn an LSE OR weekly service hours. Ian & Kayla will send out info on how to ref for anyone who doesn’t know all of the Spikeball rules!
Loaves of Love occurs every 2 weeks in Earle Classroom. Loaves of Love is a weekly service opportunity, but AED members can attend ANY date this semester for 1 LSE credit. Note: Loaves of Love can only count for 1 LSE of your required 3. The next date will be Friday, April 19th, from 4:30 to 6PM. To receive credit, show up at 4:30 and fill out the sign-in on the whiteboard.
We will be going to the Salvation Army this Saturday, April 20th from 9-11AM. Volunteers will be sorting donations and restocking to assist the staff. AED members will have a choice to use this as an LSE credit or earn 2 weekly hours. If you are planning on coming please fill out this LINK. NOTE: We are almost to the max of 15 volunteers, so please reach out to Lexi if you are no longer able to go, so another AED member can have your spot.
Baylor DPT needs volunteer patients for their upcoming skills checks/practical exams in mid-April! This could be a fun opportunity to learn something while you get some volunteering hours in. Each shift is 2 hours and 15 minutes long, and you can either sign up for the human anatomy shift or the physical therapy examination shift. If you do sign up for a shift, make sure you actually go! Signing up for 1 shift will earn you an LSE! Please send Lexi a picture of you volunteering to earn credit. Sign-ups and more information can be found here.
