Important Membership Updates!
From the Spring 2025 semester on, AED will now be requiring all general members to complete two scholarship credits. All other general member requirements will remain the same. With a variety of events and opportunities available, we hope that this new requirement aims will enhance member engagement and support the continued growth and success of the organization. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Executive Board!

Ready to take the next step in leadership? Our officers design chapter merch, coordinate service projects, and help plan the annual Pre-Health Symposium—just to name a few things! Apply now to join Alpha Epsilon Delta’s officer team and make an impact!

Graduating seniors! Please fill out this Google form to claim your free AED Graduation Cord.
End-of-Semester Survey: Please fill out our end-of-semester survey to give us feedback on the AED events held this semester! This will help us gauge what went well and what we can do better for next semester.
Earn one scholarship credit for filling out the form!
**Writing N/A or not fully answering majority of the questions will result in the credit being withheld.**
Be sure to review the Master Spreadsheet periodically throughout the semester for your credits. Email mariele_patungan1@baylor.edu if you have any questions!
General Meeting Dates:
Our general meetings will be from 7:30-8:30 pm on 2/5, 2/19, 3/5, 3/26, 4/9, and 4/23 in BSB D110.
Go ahead and plan on putting those on your calendar so you can meet the GM requirement. Please email Mariele (mariele_patungan1@baylor.edu) if you cannot attend one or all of these GM dates at least two weeks in advance. We will only provide GM exemptions to those with classes or exams.

*If you were unable to attend a New Member social this semester, you can attend the Easter Egg Hunt or Bingo Night social and bring a prospective member to earn a social credit! Just check in with Safa so she can make sure you get that credit.
Scholarly Events
TMDSAS/AMCAS Workshop | April 17th | 5:00-6:30 PM | BSB A236
This workshop will be in collaboration with ASDA so both pre-medical and pre-dental students can learn more about the application process. A TMDSAS representative will also be there virtually to walk through the TMDSAS portal, offer tips, and other resources to the students.

AED-Exclusive Remote Shadowing Opportunity | Applications due Friday, April 18 at 11:59
Are you going to be in Houston this summer and are interested in getting shadowing hours (particularly surgical shadowing hours)? If so, fill out this application to shadow one of our esteemed Baylor Bridges alumni! You will get over 30 hours of shadowing experience in Orthopedics, which can truly bump your resume up to the next level. Applications are due THIS FRIDAY (April 18) at 11:59, so submit today!

Upcoming Large Service Events
AED requires general members to attend 3 Large Service Events each semester! If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Lexi (lexi_haviland1@baylor.edu).
1 Large Service Event can be “carried in” from another organization per semester, and 1 Large Service Event can be a “pay for credit” opportunity.

AED will be having their first ever LSE with the Waco Children’s Advocacy Center next Monday April 14th from 6-8PM!
They are a non-profit organization in Waco that serves to bring about healing to children who are victims of crime and to facilitate change to end violence through advocacy, collaboration, and community awareness. We will be helping package copies of their “Table Topics and Conversation Cards”. They are sets of cards with different prompts about all things relationships in sets in individual bags. It will be an extremely low stress, accessible activity that everyone can do!
Lexi will be attending, and she can provide rides to anyone who needs it!
Please fill out this FORM to sign up by 11:59PM Sunday night (4/13), so Lexi can send the volunteer coordinator a headcount. She will make a GroupMe tomorrow morning.

Loaves of Love occurs every 2 weeks in Earle Classroom. Loaves of Love is a weekly service opportunity, but AED members can attend ANY date this semester for 1 LSE credit.
Note: Loaves of Love can only count for 1 LSE of your required 3, and you MUST bring a donation (6 loaves of Hill Country Extra Thin Bread (blue)- $1/piece) in order to earn an LSE.
The last date for the semester is Friday, April 25th. To receive credit, first fill out this LINK (there is a 10-member max for LSE credit), show up at 4:45PM, bring your donations, and fill out the sign-up on the whiteboard.

Support AEDxMSO’s Mission Trip to South Africa in May by providing supplies that the clinic is short on! Bring your donations to the last General Meeting (4/23). If you are unable to drop off at the meeting, please reach out to Lexi or Annie (annie_lodge1@baylor.edu) to drop off by the last day of classes.
Note: if you donated diapers this semester, this will not be able to count as an LSE as members are allowed to use 1 Pay-For-Credit LSE per semester.

Each chapter is allowed to submit two scholarship applications
Applicants must be/have been a national member and active in their chapter.
Applicants must be graduating seniors or within 2 years of graduation.
Applicants must have been accepted to or matriculated into a medical, dental or other health care related professional school.

Semester Dues are now $35 and must be paid by the end of the semester.

Please do not mark your dues as a service as it charges AED.

Support our Mission Trip goers by attending our collab bingo night with MSO before GM #5. We will be giving out merchandise to bingo winners! At the end of the night, our final bingo winner will win a full set of lightly-used Kaplan MCAT books courtesy of Lexi!
Bingo cards can be purchased 1 for $2 or 3 for $5. Purchase 3 cards to earn 1 social credit!
